Daryl Parks Campaign Clears $1 Million Raised In Bid To Unseat Corey Simon

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Today, prominent civil rights attorney and small businessman, Daryl Parks, announced he has raised more than $1 million for the cycle to date, with over $250,000 of that coming in the month of September so far.

“While big shots in the Capitol have been gutting public schools and stripping peoples’ rights away from them, the people are tired of it. That much is clear by the tremendous support for my campaign, and I am both overwhelmed and motivated by it.”

Since filing in April, Parks has had over 2,300 unique donors, including almost 1,700 donations that were $100 or less.

“It has been so inspiring to see North Florida rally around this campaign in such a major way. At the end of the day, it really is a campaign by the people, for the people, because the people deserve someone who fights for them.”

Parks has been a community leader, advocate, and outspoken voice for change for nearly 30 years. As a State Senator, Parks will prioritize fighting to lower costs for hardworking families, expanding access to quality affordable healthcare, ensuring women can make their own healthcare decisions and reversing the impacts of extreme policies supported by Simon that have prioritized culture wars ahead of the everyday needs and allow rising costs that are squeezing working families.
