Daryl Parks Statement on Hate Group Patriot Front March
Today, the Daryl Parks campaign released the following statement in reaction to members of the hate group Patriot Front marching in Tallahassee.
“White supremacist hate groups like Patriot Front do not represent the majority view in Tallahassee or North Florida,” said Parks. “Their hate has no place here and it’s incumbent upon all of us who know better to stand against this bigotry wherever we see it. We must all work together to leave the hate fueled culture wars of the past behind us and build a future for North Florida families where we come together to address the problems that hold us all back, including the rising costs of basic necessities like healthcare, housing and food. We need leadership committed to bringing us all together to move North Florida forward as one community.”
Parks has been a community leader, advocate, and outspoken voice for change for nearly 30 years. As a State Senator, Parks will prioritize fighting to lower costs for hardworking families, expanding access to quality affordable healthcare, ensuring women can make their own healthcare decisions and reversing the impacts of extreme policies supported that have prioritized culture wars ahead of the everyday needs and rising costs that are squeezing working families.
